My has the Farm Town Weekly community grown. Participation has been incredible these last few episodes. Like last week we had 8 people on the community call which included a surprise call from Jennie (Who’s That Girl) G’s Sister from California.
We gave many “Shout-outs” and even welcomed 2 new members to our Board of Directors. Congratulations Rob Terry and Ray Berard. Rob has become a regular guest on the show and Ray is responsible for creating FarmTally.com.
We covered several topics on this episode including facilities, the need for new levels, and the inflation problem of having too much coin and too few methods where that coin can be consumed. Mainly, we just had fun getting together and hope you will get together with us next Monday evening at 7:30 central time.

On this episode we discuss fishing, facilities, and making a “Help Wanted” post to your wall asking neighbors to come and harvest/plow at your farm. We also talked about desired upgrades to current features and a few new ideas. Was a lot of fun and a great crowd in our live chat.
Another topic we discussed is a fun thread in the official Farm Town discussion forum called Sniff, Sniff, Boo, Hoo. This thread is a multi-contributor saga started by Ms Penny about the goings-on at her “seedy” little Trailer Park (Farm 2) and Bubba’s Prison (Farm 3). We featured screen shots of these farms on our Facebook Fan Page and the story line now includes Jets Cousin, Cletus Hill who is currently sitting on Death Row at Bubba’s Prison. There is really only one way to get up to speed on the Trailer Park Players and that’s to start at the beginning and read to the current post. It is a lot of reading but what else do you have to do while you’re waiting for wheat?

What a show. We had a difficult time getting started and had to actually start everything over again but once we got going we had a really good time. Ms. Kelly, Mountain Mamma, Jennie G, and Data Sheet Dave joined me on the call. Later during the show we had a wonderful surprise when Sandi Lopez called in all the way from Portugal. (We love you Sandi!) and a very nice gentlemen with the user name of Mushroom Hunter also called and visited with is a while.
The topics ranged from the new items and facilities on Farm Town to the ever changing landscape of social media. We also had a somewhat passionate discussion on the health care reform bill. What a great group we have to be able to talk about such issue from both sides of the political fence.
I’m already looking forward to getting together with you all next Monday evening at 7:30 Central on TalkShoe.com – Hope you enjoy listening.

A top notch group of farmers got together with Ms Kelly, Mountain Mamma, and myself. I offered some tech help info on an issue one of our neighbors was having with Firefox, talked about how to help a farmer that is just getting started, and told a little joke to pull start Ms Kellys giggle motor.
I want to say how much fun it was to have a great group of regulars, you know who you are, along with some new friends and first timers in our live chat. Thanks so much Rachelle and Shaggy ^_^

For the first time ever, I am releasing an episode of Farm Town Weekly immediately after recording live at Talkshoe. We had some small audio issues at the beginning but other than that I think everything will be fine so please give it a listen and remember to tell your friends about us.
